Before Submitting my Task

What types of document does Writing.Repair accept?

Writing.Repair specializes in editing study-related documents: essays, papers, theses, dissertations, research proposals, personal statements, admission essays, motivation letters, reflection papers, etc.

Can I order services such as “correctness,” “engagement,” “style,” etc. separately?

Currently, we only offer three levels of service: “Basic” Repair, “Standard” Repair, and “Super” Repair. You may communicate to us any special requests — within the scope of your selected level — in writing in conjunction with your document upload.

Can I choose between American, British, and Australian English?

Yes. Please indicate your preference in writing when sending your document to us. If you don’t choose one, your editor will follow the style of English you currently use in your document.

How fast can Writing.Repair proofread my document?

We currently offer two levels of service:
Standard: 48 hour turnaround
Expedited: 24 hour turnaround

Which languages are supported by Writing.Repair?

Currently, we only offer editing services in English. Documents submitted in other languages will not be accepted and we will issue you a refund.

Can Writing.Repair proofread my document during weekends and holidays?

Yes, regardless of the level of service and speed of service you choose, our editors will turnaround your document during weekends and holidays.

Are footnotes included in the word count?

Footnotes are not included in the word count. If you would like us to edit your footnotes, please inform us in your communication.

What file formats do you support?

We only accept documents in the following format:
* Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx)

Is it possible to edit only a portion of my document?

Yes. Please inform us of the portions of document you would like us to look over in writing when uploading your document.

 During my Task

Can I update important information for my editor?

After you have placed your order, it is not possible for you to modify your order service level. However, if you wish to provide additional information after your submission of the document, please contact us at tasks@writing.repair with your order number and additional information.

We do not guarantee that your additional information will be received in time.

How can I cancel my order?

Please contact us directly as soon as possible. If the editor did not start yet, it is possible to cancel the order. We will then refund you the whole amount excluding transaction costs.

If your order has already been assigned to an editor for proofreading, it’s not possible to cancel the order. In this case, support can ask the editor to stop editing. You will have to pay for the pages the editor has edited so far. The editor will not write a feedback letter.
